Circles Meeting

Circles Johnson County gathers middle-to-high income volunteers to support low-to-moderate income households. Surrounded by people who have landed jobs, negotiated a lease, or managed credit card debt, for example, participants are more equipped to achieve long-term financial stability.

Circles Weekly Meetings provide the following opportunities:

(1) Dinner & Childcare

(2) Relationships in which Circle Leaders (low-to-moderate income) and Allies (middle-to-high income) can walk together and thereby support and empower each other to reach individual and self-determined goals for becoming more economically stable one household at a time.

(3) Presentations and resources available from which the entire Circles community, as well as the local community, can learn.

(4) Address systemic obstacles that keep families trapped in poverty. In short, Circles is a model for family stabilization that also supports community transformation.
