Board Members

Mark Kamer

Board President - Mark was a founding member of Bridges Alliance of Johnson County. He retired from Eli Lilly and Company as a Senior Director of Project Management. In addition to volunteering with Bridges Alliance, Mark is active in his church and continues to run his own consulting company.

Beverly Martin

Vice President - Beverly is an active volunteer and trainer for Circles Johnson County. Bev retired as Director of the Johnson County Public Library. She serves on a number of nonprofit boards and is active in local organizations such as Rotary, Franklin Women's Study, and Charlotte Emerson.

KaAnne Morris

Treasurer - KaAnne is a retired not-for-profit CFO and University Vice-President for Finance and Administration at Urbana University, Quincy University, Sisters of Providence, St. Mary of the Woods, and the Orchard School.

David Sever

Secretary - Dave has an extensive background in educational leadership and was a former Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology of Franklin Community School Corporation. As well as being active as a founding BAJC board member, Dave has been a Circles Johnson County Ally and was a co-founder and current advisory board member for No Place to Call Home, a homelessness intervention program in Johnson County.

Nancy Phelps

Director- Nancy joined the Board of Directors for Bridges Alliance after going through the Circles Program as a Leader. Her experience as a participant in the program and Leadership on various committees including Big View bring valuable perspective to the Board. Nancy is also a current Americorps Service Member. Nancy is employed in the FSSA department at the State of Indiana.

Karry Surenkamp

Director- Karry is a Director of People Success, Supply Chain for Ulta Beauty with oversight to the Greenwood Distribution Center and two Fast Fulfillment Centers. She was a member of the senior leadership team for the distribution center in Johnson County for several years prior to taking a new role.

Carissa Comstock

Director - Carissa is a Marketing Manager at Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC, where she leads strategic marketing and client engagement initiatives across the firm. She is an active community volunteer with BAJC and Leadership Johnson County, supporting efforts that strengthen local businesses, develop community leaders, and foster meaningful connections throughout the region.
